Which Dog is stronger the boxer or American bulldog or bull mastiff or English mastiff or great Dane. List them in order from strongest. I'm not training or fighting dogs to attack. I'm just asking because my friends made a bet. Please no rude comments, THANKS. Also if u have owned any of these dogs please note ur experience. Thanks again in advance....

Mastiffs are beasts a mastiff (not bull or english) is huge and is very strong. The order from strongest to weakest is probably
Bull Mastiif, English Mastiff, Great Dane, American Bull Dog,Boxer.
If you ever plan on getting a big dog be aware they have expensive health problems. The mastiff gets bloat. When their stomach gets twisted and then they usually die.
(boxers are no bigger than labradors!)

I have an American Bulldog, female 4yrs old & she is very strong & muscular, but mastiffs & danes could outweigh her by 30-60 lbs. Pound for pound I think ABs are the strongest. Stronger than a boxer any day.

1. Mastiff (of any variety - have you seen the Neopolitan?)
2. Great Dane
3. American Bull Dog
4. Boxer
Of course, size varies within all breeds. Therfore, my rating is based on average size.
Good Luck

Domestic dogs are generally larger and stronger than domestic cats. In no way does that indicate which animal is a better fighter (I'm guessing you wanted someone to say that). In the wild, a Tiger or a Lion could and would easily kill and eat a Wolf (I'm guessing you wanted someone to say that too). (Wolves and Tigers / Lions don't share the same habitat) A police officer would never fare well fighting crime with a well trained police cat, but a well trained police dog can easily take down a bad guy (I said that for myself).

I own 2 pitbulls. The younger one is a 2 year old, 50 pound female and pound for pound she's as strong and tough as any dog I've ever known.

Strenght is not always the determining factor in a conflict
Strength will vary greatly between members of the same breed based on their physical conditioning
