I know that right now it seems to you like there have been a great many deaths...but if you look at the grand scale, it isn't that many. The people you mention were all likely elderly, especially your grandfathers and great grandfathers, and while your aunt may not have been as old, and you felt close, it doesn't necessarily follow that she would tell you everything about her health. Death is something we all must deal with in our lives. Be sure to keep talking about it with your family, don't shove it under a rug and ignore your feelings.

i really dont know it depends on the nature of their deaths.

i had many family members die too.

dad-suicide
cousin-suicide
grandpa-heart attack
grandma- old age enphasima
baby cousin-sudden infant death syndrome
cousin april-annyursim
mom-lupus
other grandpa-cancer

they all died from very different things nothing related. i think that death just happens when it's their time and they all just happened. im sorry i know what it feels like to lose so many people but dont try to find something to blame it all on just accept their deaths and try to move on. i promise it's not as hard/scarey as it sounds.

i did it and im doing ok. my mom and dad were dead by the time i was 14 and im now 19 i think that if you just keep focus on your life and doing well then i think you'll be ok too

good luck

Losing people is one of the hardest things to deal with in life. I'm sorry to hear what you and your family has gone through. What did they die from? And also was it from the same side of your family? If you are having trouble getting over the deaths I would check out www.addicted.com and there is a great forum section for grief and loss. I hope this helps and I hope things get better in your family.

When I was 16, I lost both grandparents, an Uncle, my father, and a couple other close relatives. I was in the hospital almost everynight and the staff actually thought I was a doctor!
