Contact your local DA and ask them. If it is possible I think you are smart to do it now!

You have to wait until the baby is born, although I think you can start the paperwork for DNA testing about a month before the birth.
While some women do get amnio for medical reasons, most judges will not accept amnio DNA results until AFTER the baby is born and some will not accept them at all. The judge cannot order child support or DNA testing for a child not yet born alive. However, it sometimes serves to get Daddy on board. No doctor will do amnio or CVS for paternity reasons only.
Finally, save your pennies. You will have to pay for half the DNA test, all your maternity costs and all the baby's costs until the court determines that he is the father.

You have to wait until the baby is born. If your 100% sure he's the father, place the dad's name on the birth certificate. Then, you can file for child support. If he's in denial, be prepared for a DNA test and possibly even having to share the baby by giving him/her up on weekends.

You will have to wait until you are further along, but it is smart to contact the DA's office and family court now just for suggestions. I am currently almost 7 months pregnant...already started my child custody papers and already speaking to family court about the child support. Contact family court and they will be able to help you.
Good luck

You can consult a lawyer now for legal advice, and possibly have the papers drawn but they can not be submitted to the court until after the baby is born.
If he is denying paternity, a DNA test will be necessary.

You need to wait until the baby is born, have a DNA test done, and then file for child support.

Just curious: What did *you* do to prevent pregnancy? Insist on a condom? Get on the pill? IUD?
As far as support, you have to wait until the baby comes so you can get a paternity test and prove he is the father.

No, there is no child to support now. You will have to force him to take a paternity test if he's going to deny. Next time think before you jump into bed with someone you're not married to. Now go find the best trailer you can.
