We went and looked at dark wood furnishings. We want to paint our house something warm. Our wood work is white. What color would you suggest for walls?

Try going with neutral tones, that way you can add color to the rooms by using borders, wall hangings, throw pillows, etc. In each room you could paint one wall an accent color. That looks really nice too.

Well it pretty much depends on the furniture. Warm colors would be like a dark red, burnt orange, brown, maybe even a chesnut type. Mix and match with your furniture. I hope you will enjoy your new and improved living room!
♥ always,
Laynie

I would suggest a light tan. With the furnishings and the white it would look smart and classy.

A mustardy gold looks great with dark wood furniture. That's what I did. Our diningroom is a dark terra cotta which looks like a warm red when its evening time.

i might stay far off from the gentle blue. evaluate a complemetary shade to the brown and beige. With all those independent colorings, it seems such as you could ought to bypass dark. My concepts are hour of darkness blue or a darker pink. (no longer deep lipstick pink) A pink with some black in it.
