I figure that if we give them a section, all the atheist trolls can go there and rant amongst themselves instead of picking fights with Christians and other theists.

kclightman - I'm not trying to get rid of anyone, otherwise I wouldn't have suggested that atheists have their own section. Much as I would enjoy not having to read the tripe that I do from some of the atheists on this site, it wouldn't be fair to say that I have the right to contribute to this site and you don't; I was just saying that it would make sense since there are categories for other groups.

I have seen more Christian trolls than atheist trolls. Besides that pretty much all atheists agree in general on things so there wouldn't be any reason to hang out there.

Then the Christian trolls (you?) might come to the Atheist section just to prove your points all over again. I want the Atheists to stay in R & S. Their answers are usually the most intelligent and well worded. I may not always agree, but that's just part of life.

Are you getting to the point that their posts are making you think too much? Just wondering.

I swear, we need to consider this as a drinking question.
It's been asked and answered enough times. Without the atheists, what would the christian trolls do then?
Seriously, trolls are trolls, it doesn't matter what they believe.. it's summertime and the kiddies are out of school.. instead of going outside, getting fresh air, and having a real break, they're playing online and making life miserable for those who actually want to ask and answer here.

Oh you poor thing. Demented enough to assume all atheists are trolls and none of the 'special' little believers are... well that's a lie.

Our own section would be pointless, your own trolls would only come bug us anyhow. And besides, there would be nothing for us to discuss, our interest here is in the beliefs of people as a whole...unlike believers we don't have questions and need reassurance of our own views...

Edit: Unlike some believers, we can't be entertained by asking "Who [doesn't] believe in god?" a million times... How dull would that be.

no there is no such thing as an atheist. let me explain, an atheist does not believe in God and say he does not exist.the only way you can make this assumption is to elevate your self to the level of a god therefore you don't exist. now my question is why would you want to give something that does not exist their own section

because of the fact it often is the only area arranged via consumer and not subject count, and which would be unfair. faith and Spirituality is for the asking and answering of questions bearing on faith and spirituality,no longer for the religious and religious to chin wag. have been given a concern, take it up with Yahoo, they'll set you promptly. .....and it is their very own area.

Why are you so afraid to listen to an atheist's point of view? Are you not secure enough in your beliefs? Your user id indicates you are a patriot, but your actions say otherwise.

As long as the Christians get their own section, genius.

hm. question is of course, who would you kick out next? Satanists? Agnostics? Pantheists?

edit: and indeed, I would be bored very quickly at an atheist board.
