During the 1,000 years, all war will be gone. People will no longer judge or discriminate others because of who they are.
Children will be able to touch lions without getting hurt. There will be no such things as money, business, or greed, as everything is plentiful, and only the genorous will be let to live in the paradise. Beauty will be everywhere you seek.
Basically, heaven :-)

What is in store for Satan? The Bible describes this future event: "[An angel of Jehovah] seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. And he hurled him into the abyss and shut it and sealed it over him, that he might not mislead the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended." (Revelation 20:1-3) Only after Satan is hurled into the abyss of inactivity will the Thousand Year Reign of Jesus Christ begin.
What a delightful place this earth will then be! Gone will be wickedness and those who cause it. The Bible promises: "Evildoers themselves will be cut off . . . But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." (Psalm 37:9-11) Their peace will not be threatened from any source—human or animal. (Isaiah 11:6-9) Even millions who, out of ignorance and because of lack of opportunity to know Jehovah, sided with the Devil over the course of history will be brought back to life and given divine education.—Acts 24:15.
By the end of the Thousand Year Reign, the earth will be brought into a paradisaic condition, and mankind upon it will have been brought to human perfection. Then Satan will be let loose for "a little while," only to be destroyed forever along with all opposers of God's rulership.—Revelation 20:3, 7-10.
Whose Side Will You Take?
The 20th century was a time when Satan wreaked havoc upon the earth. Rather than indicating that he has won, however, the conditions on the earth constitute a sign that we are in the last days of this wicked world. (Matthew 24:3-14; Revelation 6:1-8) Neither the intensity of wickedness on earth nor the majority viewpoint is an issue in discerning who has won. The determining factors are whose way of ruling is best and whether anyone has served God out of love. On both counts, the victory belongs to Jehovah.
If the allowed time has already proved Satan wrong, why does God permit wickedness to continue? Jehovah is showing patience "because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9) God's will "is that all sorts of men should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth." (1 Timothy 2:4) May you use the remaining time to study the Bible and 'take in knowledge of the only true God and of the one whom he sent forth, Jesus Christ.' (John 17:3) Jehovah's Witnesses will be happy to help you gain that knowledge so that you too can join the millions standing firm on the victorious side.

During that time, survivors of Armageddon will be brought to perfection. (They may also get involved in cleaning up the earth.) Jehovah told Adam and Eve that if they ate from a certain tree they would die in that day. Yet Adam lived for close to 1,000 years, that is because a day is a 1,000 years to Jehovah and a 1,000 years as a day. So, mankind lost it's perfection in a day, and will regain that perfection in another day, a period of 1,000 years. (That's long, that is how far from perfection we are.)

Its the time between Christs second coming to collect the saints and destroy the wicked, and the time when the new Jerusalem comes down from heaven with the saints. At this time(after the 1000 year judgment in Heaven) the wicked dead are raised and are gathered by Satan to attack the city. When they realize the futility of this action every knee will bow and confess Christ is Lord.
Fire is sent down from Heaven and destroys the raised wicked, and the Devil, the false prophet and death are cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Then the Heavens and the Earth are made new. PERFECT once again.
The 1000 years is for the Saints to judge those who God destroyed with the brightness of his coming and the fallen angles ("do you not know that the saints will judge angels") So they will know that God is just as well as merciful in destroying those who refused to follow him and repent of sin (sin being a transgression of the law, NT). To worship him as he demands in the Sabbath commandment.

Image a great teaching program teaching us not only how we can serve Jehovah shoulder to shoulder, but also how to get along in our God given Paradise.
To be taught by the one who taught Jesus, what a privilege indeed!
During that 1,000 year reign of Christ, our dead loved ones will come back threw the Ransom provided by Jesus sacrificial death and they too will be taught by Jesus so they too can have the marvelous privilege to live forever, serving Jehovah shoulder to shoulder with the Armageddon survivors.
Growing healthily and younger...to enjoy the animals in the way Adam and Eve did before they sinned.
So much to look forward too, our imaginations can only begin to grasp what it could be when Jehovah and his son Jesus, wants to show us HOW it will be!

Jesus Christ will set up his kingdom and rule and reign for a thousand years when He returns. This is the same kingdom that He promised the Jews starting in the New Testament. But since the Jews rejected Him three times (John The Baptist, Jesus Christ and Steven) the kingdom of heaven was put off until the return of Jesus Christ. The spiritual kingdom (Kingdom of God) was brought in which abides in the believer when they accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

No kidding smells like pot, this question reminds me of the Good Ol' Days with the National Socialists.
Any time someone starts talking about 1000 years...walk away. Whatever is coming next probably isn't quite sane.
