Your kids will test you until the day they leave home. We get payback when they have kids. Then, we sit back and enjoy.

If your daughter is not fat or too thin, but you are concerned about her well being, I would consult the family doctor about the number of calories she should consume in a day.

Don't expect her to like everything you make, but if it is presented to the whole family, and everyone else eats it, I would not prepare something different. When she is hungry, or hungry enough, she will eat. Relax. Make good, nutritious meals. If she doesn't eat - clear the table and don't let her see that it bothers you.

If you appear anxious about it, she will play you. That's what kids do. If your doctor says she is in good health, forgetaboutit.

Always give children food, never deny them that...on the other hand don't allow her junk food, offer her "kiddie" food such as carrot sticks or cut up cucumbers or things of that nature, children LOVE food that they can hold in their little hands. Healthy food is the way to go, apples, oranges, grapes, carrot sticks, cucumbers...but never deny a child food, they are growing and need sustenance. :)
