Yes it does because of the high calorie count in each serving. Its like 180 a can. Not to mention the late night beer munchies. Also, most people drink beers at night before they sleep thus inhibiting your metabolism the proper energy it needs to burn off the calories.

Not exercising enough gives you a pot (beer) belly. You can still drink if you work it off.

i would say yes, alcohol turns to sugar when it hit's your blood stream, sugar is a bad carb but you can drink a few beers as long as your following a low carb diet and be ok, i am anyway and i know a lot on both side's of the fence here, beer drinkers with big belly's and one's with really hot body's so i think it depends on your overall diet and exercise program.

After a length of time of drinking heavily you will get what is called ascetis (check spelling) also called weeping liver disease. Pretty much at that point your liver is so damaged it leaks (or weeps) tissue into your abdomin. Not good at all. So, yes you will get a beer belly

yes! yes and more yes! It isnt the only reason for it but beer helps. there is a reason its called "Beer Belly".

yes, think about how many calories are in one and then multiply that times the number of beers you have at one sitting. Some guys can drink more then a dozen....that's getting up there with your recommended dietary intake of calories

I've heard it being refered to a 'beer belly' so in that case, yes. Beer is gross anyway.

no, beer gives you a beer gut! not belly ... SERIOUS GUT! lol. it totally swells you up. so sad, cause i love beer, but boy do you put on the lbs!
