Unless you know what type of ringworm your cats have, self treatment is not advised. There is one type of ringworm that is zoonotic, meaning that it is contagious to humans, as well as other cats and dogs. Your best bet is to go to the vet and have a skin scraping done to identify the fungal type.

Ringworm is a fungus. If your cat has it, rub Desenex cream (the same stuff you use for athlete's foot - miconazole nitrate) on each lesion. Put it on once in the morning, and again at night, twice a day, and keep putting it on until you see that the lesions are drying up. Keep an eye on them. But it works fast, and it will clear them right up.
And do remember that ringworm is very contagious. You and everyone who handles your cat can catch it from him. This sounds much worse than it is, and I warn you of this possible consequence only so I can tell you that if you or someone should come up with ringworm, use the miconazole nitrate on your lesions as well. It will clear them right up. I really works fast.

One of my cats and I got ringworm last year (the other 9 and my husband didn't get it at all, so go figure) and what got rid of it was apple cider vinegar. I put some on a cotton ball and applied it to the ringworm twice a day. After a few days, it died and it hasn't been back.

Your vet needs to determine what kind of ringworm, if it is indeed ringworm, your cat has. Treatment can be a series of dips or oral medication, and they can't be bought over the counter. They aren't expensive, but you don't want to put your cat through treatment without an accurate diagnosis.

Make an appt. with your vet so he/she can check your cats out to see what kind of worms they are and what medicine is appropriate. I wouldn't try anything over the counter.
