is there any way to free up video card space

start -> command -> dxdiag

The video card does not have space like a hard drive. Every time you open an application (like a game), the video card allocates a certain ammount of it's memory to that program, and when you close it, the memory goes back to being free. You can upgrade your video card to one with more memory if you want your games to run smoother.

No, because video cards don't have storage space. If you're talking about physical space, you'll have to mod the card.

Just play games that don't require alot. You should get a new graphics card if it's lagging, I preffer a 256 or 512mb DDR2 graphics card. Save a hundred bucks for one, it is definately helpful. But I can't help you any more if you don't tell the info about your video card. That's all I got, I guess...

like physical space, or virtual space ? also wat do mean free up space. msg me or add additional info an i will try 2 help. i think u think that video card memory acts like hd. it does not. if u need more video card memory u would need to get a new video card.
