At 4 yrs old there should be no reason why they are losing teeth. All their adult teeth should have been in by the time they were close to a year old. I would take the dog to the vet and find out what is going on.

No, not unless he chews on cement. You need to take him to the vets. He could have a really bad infection in his mouth or in his jaw bone. Dogs don't usually lose their teeth unless there is something wrong with them.

No, it's not normal at all. The only reason they would fall out would be severe decay, which needs to be addressed by the vet or it can spread to other teeth as well as the jaw bone.

for teh most part no unless it's the food you are feeding.
Also there are a very few breeds that do loose their teeth at a very early age. The best is to take the dog to the vets as there may be underlying reasons for this to be happening.

I had somewhat canines with the comparable situation, yet he does not eat dry nutrition. i'd desire to purchase Kibbles and Bits, yet a number of them are tricky and different products chewy; so I had to %. out the chewy products for him. My mothers and fathers years in the past had an previous boxer that had lost maximum of her teeth. My mom offered her meat infant nutrition and flavored it with butter and somewhat salt, as a results of fact she theory it tasted undesirable. (My mom, no longer the canines) yet another suggestion is to soak the nutrition in somewhat milk and water. My little previous canines additionally enjoyed it mixed with a uncooked egg. My canines eat puppy nutrition and the cats now and lower back get Kitten Chow as a handle as a results of fact they like it. i do no longer think of this is going to harm him.
