Okay, so there's this boy in my school who I'm good friends with. He's rather shy but really smart. On the last days of school, he complimented me on like, everything. A bunch of people have told me he likes me. I mean, some days he smiles at me and looks at me adoringly, and other days he acts immature and rude. I don't know what to do. I would ask him out if he liked me but the thing is, I'm also shy and don't know for certain if he likes me. Gahh! boys are confusing! Can someone please tell me if he likes me??

You already have the answer to the situation. Since you are both shy, and most importantly, you don't know how he feels about you,then I suggest you take the offer of "your friend " who wanted to act as an intermediary and hook you both up.First ,find out if this guy really likes you romantically( through your friend); and if he does ,then to go ahead and introduce you both. Oh, by the way , I am sure he is saying the same about girls being confusing also .I wish you the best and please keep us posted.

This kid is good...he's mixing the classic rude-boy act with the underlying cliffhangers of romance. He's looking for your attention in all the textbook ways and I say you guys should have a chance at it. And if it boils down to you both being shy, have a mediator, someone who can push things along until you two move on your own. Best of luck with him!

Haha, it sounds like what I did to this girl.
He definitly likes you, and you should DEFINITLY ask him out! He is probably just unsure right now. (I was for like...ever, which screwed everything up...)
Be kind, and just ask him.
So what if he says no? You move on!
He most definitly is going to say yes anyway.

P.S. Just don't be mean, rude, and/or shallow with him like this girl was with me.
(I did the same thing this guy was doing for you, except without the rude part. I asked her out, and she rejected me BIG time. I later learned it was because I was "short.")

well he does like you, but like you said. he's shy. he wanys to know if you like him too. he probably wants to ask you out, bout doesn't know if your feelings are the same as him. so my advice is...... take a chance. ask him out. this guy is probably to embarrassed to do it, so you go out and do what you must. but remember this factor. if he likes you, but you only likr him because he likes you, you dont really like him. and be aware of that when you ask him out.

i think he does but don't force him into dating or he wont like you anymore :( But just drop tiny hints that you like him and he'll start getting the picture
