I'd say, yeah, your sharpei will have her pups this weekend or sooner. This is what you should do:
1.) Make a whelping box for her--a special, large box with newspapers or firmly attached bedding to the bottom. Put her in there when you think she'll have her puppies.
2.) While she gives birth to her pups, be there by the box. Do not--and I repeat, do NOT--intervene unless a puppy is protruding for more than an hour, or unless she ignores a pup. Don't try to handle the situation yourself--call your vet!
3.) Regularly change the bedding/newspapers--every day. They will get dirty often.
4.) Make sure she is eating a healthy food! Right now, raw is most ideal, but an excellent-quality dry or canned food is acceptable as well. Just make sure to increase the quantity she is eating, up to 3x.
5.) When the puppies start to seek out Mom's food, begin to wean them.
6.) When the pups are ready to be sold, carefully evaluate buyers. How long are they away from home? What will they feed the puppy? Do they have children? If so, what ages are they? Are there other pets at home? Who will be taking care of the pup? Are they willing to spay/neuter the puppies? Are they willing to sign contracts to ensure that they will be good owners?
7.) Spay your sharpei! Please don't overpopulate this world with another batch of puppies; dogs in the shelters are in dire need of adoption.

I think you answered the question yourself: this weekend. If you have concerns, bring her to the vet and s/he will check your dog out. Meanwhile, give your dog lots of love and comfort - it's a very stressful thing to have puppies.

Just about any day now. Give her lots and lots of love and attention. Giving birth isn't easy.
