last year i went there and i thought it was beautiful but i'm from california and it's really hard for me to go there often.

so i was wondering if there are any places in california that look like the butchart gardens? preferebly something that looks just like the suken garden? i'm willing to travel anywhere in cali to see something like this again.

In Encinitas, just north of San Diego, there is Quail Botanical Gardens. Not really like Butchart Gardens, but then again, what is?? Good luck.

Do a google search for "botanical gardens California." About a zillion sites will come up.

Filoli, which is a mansion & gardens in San Carlos, CA (SF Bay Area) has a sunken garden, amongst its many formal gardens.

They don't allow weddings there, however, and I can only guess that this is why you posted your question in this category.
