As long as you do not lick the sharp of it HARD. I mean, I model and I had to lick a knife. Just be careful and do not force the knife onto your tongue, or jam your tongue onto the sharp of the blade and you should be fine.

What kind of question is this? I guess licking anything could be dangerous.....but a knife I would go with yeah I think so.

Very much so - especially if it is rusty and got jagged edges. On saying that, I wouldn't like to lick a razor sharp carving knife either.
Seriously - if you just mean an ordinary knife, I don't think its so much dangerous as classed as bad manners.

Well, it is but you can always lick it if its plastic and it's not on the blade side. If it's a metal knife, be very careful and watch where your tounge will be licking.

Why would you want to? Are you that hungry? I think back to a friend who told me that once he had opened a can of soup. He took the lid and put in his mouth and slid it out eating the soup mush that was on it. What he did not realize was that the sides of the lid were razor sharp. He ended up severely slicing both sides of his mouth. OUCH !!!!

Yes, you can cut your tongue. Be careful and put the stuff on the knife on a plate or something.
