OMG I can't even believe I am asking this, but its pretty anonymous on here so here goes:

I've had a BAD stomache ache all day all I went to use the restroom and realized that I had an accident all over myself and my pants. I tried to clean up as best I could but I am SO scared of smelling. I would ask to go home so that I could change but I am really close with my boss and she would want to know why I have to leave, etc. etc. I am so embarrassed and don't know how to go about this situation.

Please help!

Just say that you have an embarrassing private and personal situation that just occurred and needs to be attended immediately.

Not only are you stinky, but you could easily pass around dangerous bacteria and germs.
I think you are making the situation worse than it is. You need to go home and change. I have no idea if you're a female, but if you are can't you just use the "time of the month" excuse and leave it at that?
Don't stay at work with crap in your pants. You cannot help you had an accident, but leaving it there is just wrong.

Think sensibly, do you really want to sit around all day with that in your pants? Just tell your boss you had a very private, personal emergency and you have to go home. If you feel so bad about it, tell her you can come back in a little bit. Then just go home, shower, change and go back to work. If she presses you(which she probably won't), just tell her the truth-I am sure she will understand.

Be forthcoming with your boss. She will understand. Go home and get cleaned up. You will feel better when you do it.

If you aren't feeling well enough when you get home, you may want to stay home, take some OTC meds (Pepto Bismal or Imodium).

Talking to your boss about it is a lot better than working all day and worrying if you are a bit "stinky."

You had to go to the restroom to find out that you crapped on yourself?Go wiggling into your bosses office. He'll smell the message! He might even give you the rest of the week off!

You have messed on yourself but you had time to "sit" down and type this question instead of going to your boss first. That' weird I wouldn't be wanting on us to answer your qusetion, you are probably smelling by now because you can't clean waste out of you clothes without it still smelling unless you put it in the laundry. Think smart and go home before someone gets a whiff of you now, have to get the courage to walk pass co-workers and then proceed to your boss. I would have got in my car after I found out I messed on myself and then cell phoned my boss and told her the truth, then she would have understood why you didn't ask personally!

Tell your boss you have the stomach flu and go home. Otherwise I would find some maxi pads from somewhere and put them in your pants until you can go home. Use some body spray to mask the odor...

Wipe down as best as you can. If it's possible go to another floor or part of the building and use that bathroom where it's not that busy. On your break, go to the store or ask someone if they have baby powder. If they ask what for, just say you feel a little sweaty and want to tap up.

Tell her about the tummy ache, not about the accident. That way you don't have to lie (only withholding a little bit of information :)) and the tummy ache itself isn't that embarrassing, is it?

You could say you have a bad headache and leave for the rest of the day if it's close to quitting time. You don't have to tell your boss everything.

I'm wondering if you possibly have some kind of bug. Please take care of yourself.
