Ok, so I believe that all of our souls were once in Heaven. God created earth because we(in heaven) were always happy and at peace, but we didn't know it because we had nothing to compare it to. So He sent our souls(in bodies) to earth so we would feel pain and heartache so when we return to heaven we will be able to know and understand we were happy.

So, here is another believe I have. The reason He put us here, on earth, with free will is because after the war God wasn't sure which angels were still faithful so He sent us to Earth and unconsciencously(sp) we accept or reject what God says, so then He can see whether or not we are faithful.

Is this the possible reason and explaination for why humans are on earth?

Harper, I'm not LDS, but I've listened to the missionaries. I'm not sold o their belief because I still think there are faults in it. I'm just trying to make sense of it all.

All is flawed based on your grossly ERRANT PREMISE...
( There are *no* 'Gods'... ergo he/she/it didn't 'put us here'. )
( We're here due to ~3,900,000,000 years of evolution. )

Hi Brian:
My understanding and thoughts are based on what I have studied, not only in the Bible but other interesting books too.
What I have to say is only my opinion and maybe something that you might think about. I'm not asking you to accept it.
I don't think The soul is the same thing as a spirit.
I think they are separate. The Spirit is a spark of God. Like Angels, we were created by the spark that split into two parts.
One is Male and One is Female. Explaining life is very complicated and there is not enough room to put it all here. That all involves about 15 years of my studies to get my Ideas so I will summarize the rest.
God is our source, We chose to come into humans who lived on Earth for the experience. When we did, we started to make mistakes. There was another force on earth that you may call Satan. Temptation cause us to make the mistakes.
The mistakes cause us to die. There is a Universal Law called Karma. That is what Jesus said, What you sew, you reap. So in order to make right or learn from our mistakes, we had to come back to earth again to learn. This is when our soul formed. It is like a history book. This is your Book of records. The only reason I can think of that we have a Spirit from God is so God can experience through us himself.
All of Creation is his experience and we are fortunate to be alive through him. When we die, we return to a place in Heaven and we see out book. If we don't have any more mistakes, then we stay or we decide to go to another place in the Universe to experience, or maybe we will come back to earth again. Our Free will choice. I have spent many years deciding about what I think is true. I hope you spend many years also looking for your truth. If you want to know more about God, I suggest you study the words of Jesus.
He tells us about God, Heaven, and making mistakes, and It also tells us that he died for our mistakes so we don't have to come back if we don't choose to one day.

Below is the Webster's definition of technology... Technology doesn't just consist of the internet, etc. Since the dawn of man, humans have been inventing, learning, growing. What does it mean when you say, the Chinese look different from the head up? Don't we all look different from the head up? "Black people" are black b/c of melatonin. Toilets have been around since the Egyptians and cars are not really "simple". "Mians" is spelled "Mayan" Holy cow... spend some time looking into these things instead of asking this group. You might learn a couple things! 1 a: the practical application of knowledge especially in a particular area : engineering 2 b: a capability given by the practical application of knowledge 2: a manner of accomplishing a task especially using technical processes, methods, or knowledge 3: the specialized aspects of a particular field of endeavor

You are joking if you are an adult, I hope, or maybe a bright youngster experimenting with thinking, with the premise there actually is a God, it's an understandable idea to have.
Or taking the proverbial ****. Believing in God, and also believing he could not be sure is a pretty tall compromise.
-oops,sorry I forgot that he made a mistake early on and went back to the drawing board with the flood.

If you knew no pain or suffering would there be a paradise? Could it really exist?

Good open Mind thinking.

By the way, the last 30 years I have come to the conclusion that we were, with out a doubt, micro organisms and we grew to the state of infection on the planet that we are today.

There's a difference between how you think the world is and how it actually is. There is absolutely no basis for that belief in reality, you just threw it together, which basically means that if correct you would have to be one of the luckiest people on the planet to get it all correct based on guesses.

mormon masonic rosicrution knights templiar kabbalist all believe we predate this exsistance

i follow the bible in this matter and believe we are created at the time of our conception

humans are here to take dominion ove all creation as we mature and grow

this is the reason satan rebelled

angels were not created in the image of god
the bible says man was created in his image and likness
and the bible says God breathed the rauch (the spiritual breath of god) into adam

that being the case adam could not have preexsisted
he was created body soul and spirit in the garden

to my knowledge the only person who preexsisted by the bible text is jesus

i dont think the bible has any errors in this matter

i like mormons i just dont always agree with them

I see your point. In Genesis it never said that God created our souls the day he created humans! I agree with a lot of what you say. That is definitely a possible reason.

The Lord has already explained how we got here, why we are here. Man does not need to go conjuring up their own theories about life because He alone is God and we are not.

I believe that Christ has always intended for all of us to return to live with him and receive the same glory that He has. The process of finding out if we are worthy of this great blessing is through this earlthy life and the tests we experience through temptations, trials, and love.
