if your child becomes an atheist or believes in another religion, will you tell them they are going to hell? can you still love them unconditionally?

One of my children made some pretty bad choices in life and walked away from the faith. My love was still there and I didn't have to say anything about hell. I just prayed every day and God brought that child back to the faith . As a parent, we always love our children but we may not particularly like them for a while. God is always faithful. He has answered my prayers for my children over and over again. That is not to say they got away with stuff. They have all had to pay for the rebellion of youth and wrong choices. There are always concequences. Today all my children are faithful to God and I still pray for them all the time. Hope this helps.

Its not your place judge them and tell them they are going to hell...only God can do that its up to him and your child will deal with that on judgment day.....as for can you still love them unconditionally...are you kidding me??? firstly this is your child I don't know how you can just stop! Secondly it is the Christian thing to do to continue to love them, love is what the gospel is all about....Jesus doesn't hate sinners he hates sin. If you want to continue to be a Christian example to your child you need to continue to love them no matter what.

yes, you can love them, for they will be your kidz forever. Do you think God hates them? No, He wants them to be saved. So, we need to pray for them constantly and live the Christian life so that they can see Christ in us. Love draws them back to God, not judgment.
