If your injuries required immediate medical attention and you had no way of contating an ambulance yourself....YES, he should have called you one. If it was just to look you over, than no.

HHHMMM, If I were you I would call and ask an attorney.
This is a tricky one, I would think that because of the whole protect and serve thing that they would be liable for any person who suffered an injury and they refused to call for help.
I know that the good samaritin law was put in place for just this type of thing.
You have to understand that the police are not doctors and do not have the ability to determine whether or not you are need of immediate medical attention and so therfore I think they should get off of their lazy butts and do something like hhhmmm call aid for a person who has just been assaulted so they can be triaged by a medical proffesional.
Do you have any long term side effects from this blatant neglect?
Anything physical?
Anything like on going emotional trauma cuz you feel like you aren't even able to find protection or help from law enforcement?
Do you have panic attacks from this now?
Any post traumatic symptoms?
I would go to the Dr. and get everything documented, including a counselor that can treat you for any emotional problems you may be suffering because of this event and lack of help from the police.

Yes, if you did not need an ambulance. If you needed one, you could have called yourself.

Depends. What were your injuries? Were you under arrest or investigation at the time?

the police are under no obligation to protect you as an individual- you're on your own...just like everybody else.
