Well it depends on what type of skatepark. If its street oriented then 53-51 are good 50's are to easy to get flatspots with. If its more vert oriented which means pools, qaurterpipes, halfpipes etc. you'll want 53- 56. All around 53's are your best choice, and get bones or spitfires those two are perfect for vert and street. Believe me I know.

First, wheels aren't that expensive. They are only like 20-25 bucks on average. In my opinion the wheel brand doesn't really matter. They need to be like 99a or something on the durometer (what they use to measure the hardness) which most skate wheels are that or better, so you shouldn't have to worry about that. What you really should look for is the size of the base of the wheel (the part that actually hits the street). The wider the base, the cleaner you have to land your tricks. Skinny gives a little more leeway, you can powerslide better which basically means you can land a little more sketchy and still ride it out. Plus skinny wheels are better for street skating. Ricta has really good super light wheels, but they are probably more like 30-35 dollars. I would just get any set of wheels. They all do pretty much the same thing. But in your case go skinny for the street.

dude, to be honest when your looking at wheels, you need to think about your bearings too, if you have crappy berings you wont roll very fast or far. Bearings are graded by something called "Abec" When bearings are described this term will be used eg. "Abec-5" the higher the number the better the bearings. Get at least a 5, these are pretty standard and are affordable. Happy skating!
