My friend's dog is called Stella, she was going to be a guide dog for the blind, but when she got to a year old it became clear that she couldn't keep her mind on her job for long enough. However, yesterday, at the farm, she was given the name Lassie. She kept going to the barn and barking. My friend kept calling her back and telling her off, but Stella kept going back to the barn and barking. Eventually my friend went with her and found someone buried under some large bales of straw. That person is now recovering in hospital and Stella is now known as Lassie.

i have two dogs, both bro and sis, and i got one of them as a puppy, and one when she was 2. i begged my mom for a puppy, so we finally found Golden R. Pups in Vermont. After the 3 hour drive, my brother fell in love with a 2 year old dog, but i still wanted a puppy. in the end, my parents decided to get both! the two-year-old's name is Sydnee (she came with that name), and we named the puppy Gulliver (as in the book Gulliver's Travels) because we had to go all the way to Vermont to get them.

My dog is called Ben. He is a collie dog but does not work on the farm. He does bark at the sheep but will not round them up for us. He is a good natured dog and is also a very good watch dog. He is black and white and has big adorable eyes.

currently have two JRT's. Paddy and Broxie, but they are both rescue dogs and did not name either.
Dogs over the years have been named
Treacle
(because although he was black, my younger brother wanted to name after a golden retriever named Honey-and treacle was the next best thing)
Kimir
(pronounced as in c'm here)
Deefer
(as in d for dog)
Rex
(regal bearing)
Ben
(rottweiler-mountain sized) wont get that one unless you are scottish i guess.
