Naproxyn sodium

Naproxen sodium. It has analgesic (pain-relieving) and antipyretic (anti-fever) properties. It also inhibitis prostaglandin synthesis, which is why it is often recommended for menstrual cramps. Naproxen is an NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory), so the FDA does caution that its use may lead to increased risk heart attack and stroke and advises that people with cadiovascular disease take it with extreme caution. Interestingly, naproxen was once prescription-only; doctors and nurses called it "The Magic Blue Pill".

I know, more than you needed to know. But you don't mention your sex, age, physical condition, or why you might be taking Aleve.
