At the time I thought life was pretty great. I always believed in God, but I never tried to live for Him. I did my own thing and pretty much thumbed my nose at Him with all those "rules and regulations" I thought He demanded. I'd go to church when the urge hit, but it was a social thing. I wasn't interested in the things of God.
Then one day, suddenly and without warning, something happened and I thought I was dying. I was sure death was only minutes away. And somewhere deep in my soul, I knew I was going to hell. Oh, the heaviness and regret I felt. Yet I felt it was too late to call on Him in those moments. I thought I'd been so arrogant and had rejected what I knew to be the truth so many times, that I was too ashamed to beg for forgiveness then. It seemed a very hypocritical thing to do.
Well, obviously I didn't die. But over the next couple of difficult months I did some soul searching and praying, and one night I did ask for forgiveness. I confessed and repented sincerely, and my life changed immediately. I changed. I'm still changing, and it's been 15 years since I accepted Jesus as my Savior. I would not go back to my old life for anything in this world. All my praise and thanks to God, His Holy Spirit and His Son.

i may be very, very taken aback. between the superb and unreported scientific realities is that the earth is uniquely designed for existence, and that the prospect that the different place contained in the universe is comparable proper to existence is miniscule. See the two fantastic books in this project linked under. Now right here is my question for you: If it have been stumbled on that the earth is the only planet with existence contained in the universe, might you be moved to faith contained in the author who made this form of superbly crafted planet which you would be able to thrive and be chuffed? yet another question: Is the religion in different inhabited planets in accordance with scientific learn or technology fiction? I was lost I tried every kind of belief system and un belief system that I could and came up empty still. Every argument and sarcasm on here I have used and it sounds so familiar but I know it leads no where if it doesn't lead to the cross.

Everyone who claims to have 'found' god, already had a belief in him/her/it, festering away deep in their childhood memory. I have yet to meet anybody who had not been taught that god was a fact, turning to religion when times got hard.

I'm sure they were all desperate lost souls who couldn't find their bottoms with their elbows until God came along and put them straight.

Me, I was born right the first time, and I can't imagine why anyone would think I'd want to take advice from someone who wasn't.
