Some cats are unfriendly and don't like it when people pet them and hiss at and scratch people. But my cat isn't like that. She's nice and always so calm. She doesn't care if I pet her, she never hisses at me, and she never intentionally scratches me. Why is she so friendly?

the best answer for this question is another question: why are some people so friendly and others antisocial?
you see, just like humans, cats have very distinct personalities. anyone who has owned multiple cats over the years can vouch for this statement. there is nothing about the breed, or size, or gender that determines personality. some is effected by the parents personalities and also her environment. perhaps she got the best of both worlds and has learned that people are great, so why shouldn't she love everyone?

I was just sitting here with my kitty Chloe on my lap wondering the same thing. She's the only one out of the 4 I have that doesn't seem to have a nasty habit of some kind or other. She was even adopted from a shelter because someone tossed her out. I think they are like humans, they all have different kind of personalities.

specific! i've got no longer met each black/white cat interior the international, however the only b/w cat i comprehend is the nicest cat i comprehend. She has an particularly candy character and loves interest, in contrast to lots of different cats i've got met. i like Golden Retrievers too, however. :)

Usually but not always when a cat is mean and likes to attack people it is because they were not treated well at some point in their lives. Your cat is nice to people because people have never been mean to her.

i have a cat named zoe like that its because you provide love and care to her. thats a good thing zoe is almost a year old and she has never hissed once. shes a black white and brown cat

i guess that she is used to people and know that you wouldnt hurt her...i have a cat that is really nice too, she lets me dress her in baby clothes and push her in a stroller...lol! But my other cat is super mean but she is still a kitten soooooo... i hope she will grow out of it! I hope this helps!

nobody can really answer that wheather they think they can or not. Theres no pattern or anything like that, they are all different just like us.
chances are you are good to your cat and love it, and it loves you in return, simple as that.
