These are slackers or people who were able to weezle "cake jobs" not execs. They also show up late, leave early and disappear for hours (?). The best part is those in charge do nothing about it.

Oh God, you're talking about the same bums who belly ache about everything, never help others out, take all the credit when things go good, and throw others under the bus when things go bad. We've all seen them, they think just because they hang around work for 40 hours they DESERVE to be paid, then ***** about the owners who sign the check. I commend you, for being someone with a strong work ethic. I dispise your boss for not getting rid of these deadbeats-they make more work for everyone else, and are bad for morale!

People are lazy by nature. A lot of companies treat employees as number and bodies, not as individuals. Those employees who feel "value-less" and "I don't make a difference anyway" are usually the ones who do minimal work.

Also, I've noticed a lack of good work ethic over the years. I work in law enforcement and you'd be amazed by the number of people I encounter who are "disabled", "unemployed" or "self-employed".

Since they are not working, they can get to the head of the line.
