No.
In fact, I was 16 years old in 1977, and I remember writing the date on July 7th back then. It's just a cool little "cheap thrill" of a thing to write the date... I've observed this fun-ness every opportunity I've been old enough to notice:
7-7-77
8-8-88
9-9-99
01-01-01
02-02-02
03-03-03... well, you get the picture... this year is 07-07-07.

Had it have been significant, I think something would have been mentioned 30 years ago on 7-7-77.

Well, God didn’t create our calendar, people did, so any date that we would think off as special, like last years 6-6-06, would be utterly nonsense. If everyone made their own calendar, it would end up being 7-7-07 just about every day for at least a few people. What makes a day special is if you have a deep relationship with God on that day, for what lasting value is a good day, unless it’s a Godly day.

I didn't expect a thing to happen biblically but I can tell you about one interesting thing that occurred...
In NASCAR the driver of car #07 was the 7th car to cross the finish line before midnight on 7/7/07.!!!

This date holds no meaning to me. I know that seven is "God's perfect number but, 07-07-07, is just a date. My opinion.

I don't think it has any significance. That's my serious answer. Now, I think the world will explode on 7/7/07. We're all gonna' die.

Yes, it does have Biblical significance. I just used 777 after my name because it is the easiest number to hit with the right index finger to make Cookie different, and lucky 7s are an optimistic reference (I don't gamble, however).

(the 7-7-07 date) only happens every hundred years, and I wasn't here for the last one and probably won't be here for the next one
