It reportedly has a viewer for Word and Excel documents, but it cannot run the full versions. It supports email, but not outlook. This is an Apple product, so it runs OS X -- unlike the smartphone, which runs a version of Microsoft's OS.

The iPhone does not have a PowerPoint player, but it does support movies. It's easy to turn your presentation into a movie. File > Save As > PowerPoint movie. Then open your movie in QuickTime Pro. You can use File > Export and choose the 3g setting. That makes a really tiny movie that will fit nicely on an iPhone and can be put into iTunes or sent as a file like a text message. This advice presumes you have a Mac and that you upgraded from QuickTime player to QuickTime Pro.

Excel won't run on an iPhone. Google's docs spreadsheets will probably work.

Apple Mail comes on the iPhone, so you don't need outlook. Apple mail can be configured for IMAP and POP. IMAP works with exchange servers, but exchange server admins are typically not very adept at meeting user requests. They tend to freak out rather than lend competency.
