To me this guy sounds like a mini Hitler.

Mr. Eko- For an atheist or anyone else to say such a thing would be just as disturbing.

I think the Christians should hunt him down and rein him in, he's really not helping their side any.

It's just someone from the lunatic fringe expressing the sorts of views one would expect from such a source. There is no validity to any comparison with Hitler,by any standard a consummate politician playing to a large audience that did not consider his views lunatic fringe,at least not in bavaria in the '20s. There are people with all kinds of strange beliefs. Look at the vampire subculture. They really do drink blood and they really do believe it containes vital essenses that can be absorbed by consumption. Wacky beliefs are not rare.

It is scary that there are people out there who think like this. Thank goodness it is usually the people who don't actually vote or do anything to make a difference that do the most ranting. He probably just sits on his couch talking about what a piece of crap the world had become and blah blah. It seems like nowadays people are into one extreme or another. Beliefs can be dangerous so I would think religious fanatics are more of a threat to our society then a group of people who are uninterested in what other people believe.

I have never met a atheist extremist. That is just a load of crap to me. I have never seen an atheist hold signs of aborted fetuses in public places around children or picket in front of a funeral where a man was brutally murdered because he was gay.

I've just spent about 10 minutes reading through this person's questions and answers. I believe this is a troll posing as a Christian. Although I've met plenty of Christians with whom I disagree (sometimes vehemently), I have never met a Christian so filled with contempt -- so my instincts tell me he isn't a true Christian. In other words, this is NOT a person who has a close, personal relationship with God -- because God tells us that we cannot hate others, yet love Him, too.

If he was a true Christian, he'd be aware of these Scriptural passages:

Matthew 5:44 [this is Jesus speaking] "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you ..."

1 John 4:20 "If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?"

A large majority on the "questions" like this one are closer to blog statements than questions. Just this morning I saw the following from a christian: why are all atheists fat and unattractive? And then, then following from an atheist: why are all christians inbred idiots? Both are nothing more than attempts to start arguments.

I gave him a stupid non-related answer. He's either nuts or a troll. Either way, he's irrelevant.

And Mr. Eko, one of your answerers, is just projecting. He probably agrees with Human Galaxy.

Well, being an atheist...I take complete offense to everything he said. And everything that was said validates my reasons for not being religious. IT IS A CULT...no offense, but that is how I was raised and most of the churches in my area try to brainwash people. I just prefer to think on my own and take responsibility for my own actions. You live, you die, then you rot in a box... It's the most logical reasoning.

Just a troll. When atheists and Christians aren't at each other's throats trolls try to kick it up a notch.

As an Englishman I simply don't understand this American obsession with Atheists. Of course the word is used in its proper context but it is simply not thrown around here in UK as it seems to be in the US. Christians do not attempt to force their beliefs on non-believers - encouraging somebody to think about taking a different path in life is NOT forcing or coercing. Non-believers in UK do not mock Christians. It seems that just as there are extremist fundamentalist Muslims bent on inflicting terror; there are extremist fundamentalist (American) Christians and extremist (American) non-believers determined to challenge each other and taunt each other to the point of Civil War. Why can't Americans just chill out and try to exist together - Christians and non-believers - in peace and harmony.

Obviously, and unfortunately, there are.
This one appears to need the assistance of a qualified mental health professional, to boot.
