If you NEVER had a bf or gf in middle school and high school please answer my questions.

1.) Did you finally get a bf or gf and if you did how old were you?
2.) Did your bf or gf not want to be with you because you never had a relationship before? What did he/she say about that you not having a relationship before?
3.) On what date did your first bf or gf ask you how many relationships you had in the past? (Ex. first date, 2nd date, never...etc.)
4.) Does not dating in MS and HS affect your dating later on?
5.) Did any of your family make fun of you or call you lesbian/gay because you didn't date?
6.) If someone never talks about the opposite sex with their parents but they do with their friends, will their parents start to think they are lesbian/gay even though they aren't?

Good questions.

Being that I'm a late bloomer and still blooming I don't mind aswering your questions...

1.) Did you finally get a bf or gf and if you did how old were you? YES. I WAS ABOUT 21.

2.) Did your bf or gf not want to be with you because you never had a relationship before? What did he/she say about that you not having a relationship before? NO. HE ACTUALLY ADMIRED ME FOR IT.

3.) On what date did your first bf or gf ask you how many relationships you had in the past? (Ex. first date, 2nd date, never...etc.) HE NEVER ASKED.

4.) Does not dating in MS and HS affect your dating later on?
YES, IN A POSITIVE WAY. IT TAUGHT ME HOW TO TAKE MY TIME WITH DATING AND TO APPRECIATE THE ONE I'M INVOLVED WITH.

5.) Did any of your family make fun of you or call you lesbian/gay because you didn't date? MAKE FUN OF ME, NO. HOWEVER, BEING THAT I'M 40, SINGLE AND NEVER MARRIED, MY SISTER RECENTLY QUESTIONED ME ABOUT BEING A LESBIAN. I'M NOT. I JUST LIKE TO TAKE MY TIME WHEN IT COMES TO RELATIONSHIPS.

6.) If someone never talks about the opposite sex with their parents but they do with their friends, will their parents start to think they are lesbian/gay even though they aren't? I DON'T THINK SO. I NEVER TALKED ABOUT THE OPPOSITE SEX WITH MY PARENTS.

Be blessed and don't stress about the perceptions that others try and place on you. You are an original thinker and there is nothing wrong with it.

I didn't have what I would now call a gf.

1, After HS in college. 19ish.
2. No.
3. I'm not sure anyone has yet truly asked me this.
4. I would say very little. In fact I learned a lot from being able to look objectively at others in their disastrous relationships.
5. Never
6. I can't even see why this could happen. But I can say that in MS & HS friends are the absolute worst source of information on everything from dating to sex.

I didn't have any "steady" gf in MS or HS, but I dated plenty. I was a freshman in college before I had my first "steady" gf and it lasted for about a year. She ran away to Arizona to get away from her family. I don't believe this affected my dating at all. As for question 6, I don't think the first thing would be is my son/daughter gay/lesbian. They may be more concerned about drugs and/or sex. Also, they may feel hurt that their child can't come to them about their relationships.

1) Yes - I was 22 (or so)

2) They didn't care at all

3) This has NEVER come up on a first date - usually this only comes up after at least a few weeks (or a month)...

4) Don't know - I kinda wish I did, but then I wouldn't be with the Love of my life right now :):):)

5 and 6) Only a very hateful family would act this way - luckilly I have NEVER heard of anyone being treated this way...
