That was really a tough question but I liked it and I love your idea. I was trying to think of things that were different. And the tgiFridays gift certificate would be a good baby shower gift because that would give the new mom a break from cooking. I know I wont get your vote but I did try. I was thinking about baby AND mom.

Okay, this one is a little different...part of me is only saying this because no one else has, so far. You'd have to know the bride pretty well to pull this off, and you'd also have to know that she's fairly bold, sexually.

Go with the theme of "quickie"...make a brief stop at your local "marital aids" shop, and pick up a few items that will spice things up in the bedroom. I would avoid vibrators, but flavored or textured condoms could be fun, as could lubes, blindfolds, feathers, etc. Depending on the audience at the shower, you might want to put these items in a separate plain-brown box or bag (inside the box you wrap), with a label that says "Quickie Fixes", or something to that effect.

Gifts That Start With Q

This is actually quite easy - Quilted Pot Holders, a Quilted toaster cover (you know the funky ones grandma used to have?), a Quilted tote bag, if she collects Pandora charms the 'Queen Bee' charm is only $40 I think.

Good Luck!

Quilt is the first thing that comes to mind. But to be creative, you could call your gift "Quiet Time" and give a certificate for a massage or facial.

And be glad you didn't end up with X and have to buy an X-rated movie or a xylophone!

Quilt (a baby quilt should be easy to find).
A t-shirt with a Queen quote "like queen bee" or "queen for the day" (you can have one made if you can't find one and that's usually inexpensive).
Quiet - there are usually little pillows you can have on your front door that say "Quiet - baby sleeping" and these are really cute and inexpensive.
Good luck and have fun. God Bless the new family.

You can find some less expensive quilts or spend a bit more and have it personalized. Try a google search.

Get her a "Queen for a day" set. Throw in a gift card to a spa, get a manicure, things like that. Weddings are stressful, and she wants to look her best to get married, right? This will be a great way for her to relax and have fun.

Get her a quill. You know like a pen with a feather. She can use it at her wedding for people to sign the guest book.
