I want to make 2 18" pillows to match another piece of furniture I have. I was told I would need 1.2 yards. I dont know what width my fabric will be, and I want to know what i would need depending on the fabric width. Would 1.5 meters be sufficent?
Thanks!

Do you have a pattern? The requirements would be on the back of the package.
If the print of the fabric is lined up the way you want it on the pillow, you could cut a design that allows you to fold over on one side; and allow enough for 1 inch seam allowances on both sides and a changing slot [ can't remember proper term, but allows you to slip cover off to wash it ].
If you are a great seamstress, you could squeak by with a 36"
width material, but if not, buy the 45" fabric.
