Ask if you can repaint- pick a favorite color that you won't get tired of soon. Then ask if you can repaint your furniture- white is crisp and clean and will match any color. Also look for some new bedding, which can really transform a room- try jcpenney.com or target.com. Find a comforter or bedspread that pulls in your wall color and a couple accent colors. Add some pillows in the accent colors to your 'relaxing chair' and put a small accent rug by the bed. Hope this helps- if you'd like more ideas feel free to email me! :) ♡

1] ask parents for permission to re-finish the furniture. Research how to do this. If you want to re-paint it, try a more neutral color that will be flexible in the future [ black, white, brown, gray, even dark green ]. This could be a family project this summer.
2] buy a set of bedding, curtains, and pillows in a color or print you like. Use these colors for wall paint, rug, comfy chair,
etc. Ask parents if this could be a birthday present.
3] use the three main colors from the print for the rest of the accessories [ lamps, candles, vase, dresser and desk accessories ].

Ask your parent(s) if you can repaint. If so go to the store a pick out colors.
