Well, Hearst Castle can accommodate a wedding of up to 50 people, but it's REALLY expensive ($7500!).

There's a place called California Castle near Palm Springs that does weddings...but they're also extremely expensive - $5000 for only 60 people!

There's also a place called The Enchanted Forest near San Diego that does weddings. They have a lot of different packages available, but these apparently start as low as $50...check out the site below.

Disneyland is another option...I know this sounds like something you'd do in jeans, but they do thousands of weddings every year, and have all kinds of planners on site to help it become the wedding of your dreams. They can do the cake, the flowers, the whole works (btw, if you have them do the flowers, be sure to look for the Mickey Mouse pins holding the ribbons together!). And is there really another castle that's more representative of princesses and girlhood dreams?

The US has a bunch of great mansions, but there are no full on castles or palaces. The closest we've got is the Hearst mansion, the Biltmore, and the White House.

There aren't many castles (in the traditional sense of the word) in the United States.

Boldt Castle in NY allows weddings:

In CA, Hearst Castle can be rented out for events:

There is also Lyndhurst Castle in NY which allows events:

I am white and my honey is chinese so let me give you some ideas on how you can incorporate chinese traditions into your western wedding Rather than waiting to see his bride, the groom and his groomsman will go to the brides parents house to get her. Before he is allowed in her bridesmaids put him through a series of tests (this is something like truth or dare, it is usually in good fun) to prove his love and that he is worthy, Then he is allowed in and the couple does a small tea ceramony for her parents, the they go to his house and do the same for his. Traditionally the grooms parents give gifts to the brides parents. Then they all go to the ceramony. (The ceramony depends on the religions of the people getting married) Tradionally the bride wears a red chinese style dress with a dragon and a phenoix representing male and female. The bride normally changes her dress several times during the reception, this was originally to show her family had money but now its just for fun. Wedding party is presented with red envolopes with money, and these are also given to the couple as gifts.

Hearst Castle in San Simeon does allow weddings on the property, but your guests have to take a tour.

Beautiful place, BTW, my fiance proposed there. :-)

As everyone else said Hearst castle is beutiful but you can also consider Winchester mystery house. i know that sounds strange but the property and gardens are beutiful and it is centraly located near the san jose airport.

Cinderella's Castle at Disney World. I don't know about Disneyland, but they probably have packages there too.
