If you're 14, your body is still developing.
Eating right is a good choice... and exercising is a good choice.
But, unless you are severely obese, I wouldn't worry too much about losing weight.

If you are serious about losing weight, then see if your mom will make you an appointment with the family doctor. You need him or her to assess the correct weight for you at your age. Then let the doctor set how many calories you should be eating (for your age and weight goals), what kinds of foods would be best, and what kinds of exercise would be best.

Your doctor can help you set up realistic weight goals as well as realistic expectations for those goals.

How long have you been working out and dieting? It will not happen overnight. Also depending on what type of workouts you are doing you may be shifting your body mass around. I always felt that the best way to judge if a workout/diet is working is how clothes fit not the scale. Try bodyforlife.com I lost almost 100 lbs on the program and kept the weight off for three years now.

First of all its a long term thing, although your dieting, don't diet or over watch what you eat; because, you need all your nutrients, your are still growing. Just don't forget to drink water, eat normal, and don' t think too much about it; because the more you think of it the more it stresses you. Which in turn messes up your system. OK BABE

Try using fitday.com to count your calories and fat for one day. You probably will find out that you are taking in too much of one or the other. I lost 40 lbs using this site. I limited my daily calories to 1300 and fat to 25 to 35 grams per day.

Just give it some time. Eat 1000 calories and burn 1200. As long as you burn more that you eat and with a steady dose of diet and exercise. You shall see results. Plus it might just be water weight.
