my ex of 2 years have been broken up for about 5 months now..since then i have been out with other guys and now i am dating a guy for a few months..my ex he just goes around drinking every day and night getting on random girls..we both just graduated high school and i leave for college in 2 days and he knows that..yet he Imed me yesterday out of the blue (havnt talked to him for months)& asks me if im excitd4school&when i tell him i leave in 2 days he acts all surprised like he didnt already kno.right b4 he imed me he put a love song in his info about always being there4som1.during the conversation he asked me who ive been hanging out w/&then asked me if i was 2gether w/ this guy(1 of his old friends) that i went2prom w/&i said yes.idk if this helps but hes on aderol&antidepressants and since the meds hes had a very apathetic outlook on life(which is y we broke up) i also believe he is a narcisisst.he also recently got cited 4 a dui.plz help me figure out whats going on w/ him?!?!

ps..it has been a week since this happened but he still has that same sad love song in his info about "dont b worried about the distance, I'll b right here beside u" & all this stuff..and ive been gone@college..i havnt talked2him since but is it possible hes trying2relay a message2me without being direct because he knows im dating someone new or is he just playing mind games like he always does...ps... i know hes not dating anyone new so that song couldnt be about them, and it is unlikely for him to put songs like that in his info unless he did while we were together..i realize he has hooked up w/ a ton of girls b/c that is the person he has became&was while we were together(he cheated on me)but especially in the messed up state of mind he is in it would be impossible 4 himself 2 love somebody else, b.c he needs to learn how 2help himself first.also, im the only person that song relates 2, & reguardless, thats not his type of music he listens 2, so it has to relate to something?

Sounds to me like you both arent over each other? You say that "he goes drinking everyday and gettin on random girls." I'm just assuming that from that statement that their may be a bit of jealousy on your end also. I mean i couldn't tell you what my ex's are doing because i don't care.

Why do you need to figure him out? You are exes and there is nothing needed to be figured out here. YOu are about to start another chapter of your life with going to school...and that is where your efforts should be focused...not on trying to figure out this guy who really should no longer have much of a role in your life anymore.

The sad thing is what is going on with you. Don't worry about him, he is a loser, drugs, dui, and crappy love songs define that. What's up with you that you even ask, I assume he is your ex for a reason, and if that reason hasn't changed then you need to drop him like a hot potato.

He was just asking if you were excited about school and finding out what's in your life. He's not asking you to date him or make a committment. Quit reading more into it than there is, or that you want there to be.
