I have a huge problem with having patience with people-especially my husband and co-workers. What can help me?

Try to see things from their point of view.
What are they experiencing... ?

Also, try to put your needs and wants AFTER theirs... Ask yourself what YOU can do to help THEM, rather than nitpicking on how what they do gets in the way of YOUR needs and goals.

Be willing to sit and talk and let everyone share an opinion on what can be done so that all needs are met.

Choose to be the bigger person in each situation... someone has to be the peacemaker... YOU choose to be it.

You learn patience by HAVING to be patient... tough times make for tough people... and tough people who are wise, learn patience.

It kinda depends on the situation. If you can help the other person- this will give you something to do. Tell them that you will do part of it so that you don't have to wait around forever.

Maybe also just learn to relax and put things in perspective. Things don't always have to happen as quickly as we often think they do. Waiting 5 to 10 minutes for example is really nothing.
