Someone did something really nice for you that you didn't expect?

Not as what someone did for me as to what they said. Recently I visited The Midway a Naval Aircraft Carrier that is now a museum in San Diego. I had served on this ship 25 years ago and took my kids aboard for some personal historic nostalgia. After talking to one of the volunteers and him finding out I had served on board years prior...as he walked away he turned and said Welcome Home! I hadn't really thought of The Midway as being home...but at that moment and time...it was great being home again.

About three Saturdays ago my one sister surprised me and asked me if I wanted to go to Silverwood, which is a theme park near by,I had never been there so I said sure. She paid for everything. We also saw a concert of an up and coming country singer Jason Meadows at the theme park. All totally unexpected. I really appreciated it.

About an hour ago. My neighbor called to say she bought too much milk, and could I use some. With 2 teenage boys in the house, she knows I can always use milk!

My hubby bought a corn dog and a gyro last night and he gave me the gyro even though I know he really wanted it. I shared any way, just because I like doing nice things too.

My good friend bought me some Pirates stickers...He knows that's my favorite movie.
Lame, I know, but it brought a smile to my face.
And today at work I helped a lady with a light for her aquarium. I wasn't sure if it would work, but told her she could bring it back if it didn't. She called me to say thanks and that it worked! I never get those calls....

yesterday after the funeral one of the family members pulled me aside and said that they were very happy that I was there
to support the family in their time of need and that they all loved me and are very lucky to have me in their lives, and then he gave me a beautiful blanket,I just started to cry
which I didn't want to do in front of the family after all they been
through but he just hugged me....

my husband will bring me little things home, monday he stopped at the bakery and brought me home a pastry.
