Do the high-back style booster seats attach to the vehicle in anyway, such as the LATCH system? I'm about to move my daughter to a booster seat and want her to be safe, obviously.

Not the ones I've seen. They rely on the vehicle's seat belts to hold them, and your child, in place.

Not if you are using the seat belt for her. You can get high-back booster seats that have a harness attachment and then you can use the LATCH system (or the seat belt). But once you finish using the harness (about 40lbs I think) you just use the seat belt. It specifically says in the instruction manual not to use the LATCH. I don't know how old your daughter is, but I'd say keep her in the harness as long as possible.

They just use the existing car seat belt, there should be places built into the booster seat to put the straps.

I bought my daughter one, she is nearly 3, but her seat says she needs to be 36 inches and 30 lbs. We are lacking 4 inches and about 6 lbs, so we put it up for a while. (her seat does also have the 5 point harness attatched as well)

I can't wait until she gets into hers, but in order to be safe, i am waiting until she is bigger

no a booster sits on the regular seat and you use the cars safety belt. no latch is used.

the directions on the paperwork that comes in the box will give exact instructions!

no they dont, they are safe though, I freally do not konw the whole point of booster seats, my daughter is 4 and still in one but it really doesnt make a diff from when she is in one, I know you have to have them, But yeah, Anyways no they do not latch, just make sure the seat belt is tight, they also sell these things to put on the seat belt at walmart so that way the strap isnt right at the neck!!

From what I have read about the Latch system you don't want to use it when your child gets to a certain weight , because it will not hold up. The Latch system isn't really safer its just easier to use from what I have read.

The one I put my daughter in has a teather in the back. Otherwise by design the adult belt holds it in place. Make sure your daughter is tall enough and heavy enough.

No, they don't. All they do is raise the child up so the seat belt can fit them.
