Very unhealthy to not eat to lose weight. You should never go below 1200 calories for a woman daily. Try eating smaller meals through out the day to keep your metabolism going. Watch your calorie intake, to find how many calories a day you need consult your doctor. They will take your height and weight and tell you your body needs so many calories a day, then to lose weight you take off 500-1000 a day but never going below 1200.

Going along with what Salafee said about more, smaller meals throughout the day...

I heard on the radio about some diet-type program. You have 5 "meals", but each of the 5 has the same 5 requirements. Lean protein (such as chicken), and 4 other I can't recall. Certain celebrities have done/ are doing it.

1 meal a day will probably lead to weight gain, as your body will go into "survival" mode, leading to more calories being stored, which turn into fat.

Maybe try 4 small meals a day. You have to eat to lose the weight.

Unhealthy....Actually the more you eat during the day, but the smaller meals they are, makes you lose more weight by speeding up your metabolism.

So I recommend eating 6 meals throughout the day, but spread them apart equally in hours, and eat different meals, but they each must be healthy.

Way unhealthy. If you go through that and survive, once you get off that "diet" you'll be guaranteed to balloon up with all the weight you lost and more.

And you'll look, feel, and be unhealthy. You have to realize a healthy person is what attracts people. It shows that you can care for yourself.

You shouldn't go all day and just eat one meal. You need to have much more nutrition than that. Sounds like you need to understand the glycemic index in order to lose weight.

One meal a day is considered a starvation diet- if it's less than 1000 calories. You should only do that if you're severely obese; if you're not then stick to all three meals but smaller and healthier portions.

No it's very unhealthy. It's not a good way to loose weight because your digestive system will not have anything to burn, and may don't work properly.

you can but it's unhealthy. but it also depends on what you eat. it wouldn't be really really if you had a large meal with a lot of healthy foods.
