Sounds a lot like the stress/tension headaches that I used to get. I went to a neurologist, got an MRI, had an EKG, and nothing seemed to be causing them. Sometimes it would be a throbbing "moving" pain, other times it felt like someone hit me with a hammer.
In the end, a series of REAL massages is what cured me.
For me, the relief was immediate from the first massage. Routine maintenance has kept the headaches at bay. It's been at least 3 years since I had them. If you've never had, go easy the first time. Maybe a 15-30 minute massage to get your body used to it. Then you can go for an hour where they can really get into your head, so to speak.

Headaches can be caused by anything. Like stress, or grinding your teeth at night, your eyes could be sensitive to things, or it could be fumes that you are smelling. Do you use a special kind of perfume that makes this strong smell. I have the same problem but i grind my teeth at night. The best thing to do is to go to your doctor and ask what he thinks may cause these headaches. When you do get a headache it is best to put a cold rag on the spot that hurts and take a motrin or tylenol or advil what ever works best for you. Motrin is probably th best. Hope this helped.

There are different triggers for headache - allergy, stress, dehydration, etc - the best thing to do is journal what preceded the headache (chips, soda, test, exercise, etc) after a few headaches you should see a pattern emerging and get an idea of what to avoid. My son was allergic to chocolate but instead of getting hives he got headaches - once we found the trigger he is now headache free. The Dr was of no help this information and aid came from a dietitian since the Dr thought it was diabetic related (even though he tested neg for it).

There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, sweet fruits, milk, rice, cocoanut water and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.

Do you clench or grind your teeth when you are sleeping? You might need to get a night guard. If you don't then maybe you should go to your medical doctor they can give you medication to help or a least tell you what is causing them.
