I'm not sure why it wouldn't be possible just consult your parish priest. They are going to do the marriage bans if both of you are Catholic but that doesn't extend an invitation to anyone really.

Since you guys are only looking for the sacrament and are already technically married (as far as the witness' goes for the actual legal part) I don't think you need them. All I can tell you is when my sister in law got remarried in the church it was just the family in attendance (< 10 people) and they still had 2 poeple stand up with them. Because of the ritual I know they still went through pre cana although I'm sure their's was different than mine being that they were already married.
I agree with the other responders who say to ask the priest to be sure. Congratulations

The Church recognizes your marriage already.
It can and will bless the marriage bond that already exists.
This is called a Convalidation of Marriage and may be able to happen during a Mass.
Here is an article about the steps involved: http://www.americancatholic.org/Newsletters/CU/ac0604.asp
Talk to your parish priest to get the process started.
With love and prayers in Christ.

Yes it can be done. My fiance and I will be doing that next year. You will still be required to go through all the pre-marital counseling, classes, natural family planning, etc but then you can be blessed in the church :-) Call your parish office to meet with the priest or a deacon who may do the background work for the priest. Congrats!

Yes, you can definitely have your marriage blessed in a very small rite with just you and your husband and the priest. Call the church and arrange a meeting with the priest, and he'll direct you.

You need to check with your parish priest, I don't know what happens since you have been married already. There must be some sort of blessing available. However, if you want to be married Catholic, your husband would have to be Catholic, or agree to raise your children Catholic.

*Is Catholic*
Yes not a problem. Go to your priest. Tell him you were married civil and want your marriage validated. He will then talk with you for a bit and will setup a small validation ceremony.
Frankly, it could be done that day if he has the paperwork and the time.

I'm sure you can do that--just talk to your parish priest. I also read where you can have the Pope bless your marriage by sending your invitation or a request to the Vatican. I'm sorry that I don't have more specific information, but maybe an Internet search will get you more detail if you're interested.

You also need two witnesses. That's it.
Go to your parish priest and have him explain what you need to do but I know it can be kept very simple.
The church won't recognize the civil ceremony and that is why I'm sure you need the witnesses.

Check with your priest, but I would imagine that a blessing could be done as an entirely private affair. At any rate, he'll be able to tell you what is required.
Best of luck to you.
