A Splash Party! it's perfect for summer and low cost. INVITATIONS: go online to the oriental trading company and get inflatable beach balls, inflate, write the invite on the ball w/ a magic marker, deflate and send out. FAVORS: Fill beach themed (or bday) paper bags (i got some on oriental trading co too) and fill w/ cheap sunglasses, candies, left over beach balls etc. ENTERTAINMENT: buy an appropriate sized inflatable pool and let them go for it, maybe a sprinkler game too. Play beach boys and other "beach" songs in the background. Little kids also like the water balloons too, just make sure they'd be easy to throw and easy to pop. Could use leftover beach balls for them to kick around too CAKE: make water themed cupcakes. frost and then dip the tops into ground up nilla wafers (looks like sand) take some gum (make it stick w/ a bit of icing) and lay a teddy graham (a smaller one like in the snack packs) so it looks like he's sunbathing (make him stick to the gum w/ a bit of icing as well) add an umbrella that you'd use for a tropical drink for extra cuteness. Or, frost unevenly w/ blue frosting, stick on a piece of gum and use icing to stand the teddy graham up on it so it looks like he's surfing! way cute!

Skip the goodie bags, Any toys small enough to go in are small enough to cause choking. The kids are too young to know to expect a "haul." Explain to the moms--I'll be they'll be thrilled not to have to supervise or pick up little junk.

Helium balloons might be good to decorate as long as the strings are high enough little hands can't grab enough to pull them down. What about giant stuffed animals, borrowed from friends, relatives, craigslist, freecycle (offer to take them to Goodwill afterward), to do a farm/zoo theme?

Homemade cookies like Oreos, so that frosting makes less of a mess?

The secret word of trading success is "organized". You can't be successful without a strategy, a plan and some kind of technological support. I use a software called "autobinary signals" that is helping me a lot. There are plenty of them on the market. I recommend this one because it's very easy to use (you don't have to be an expert or have special skills to make money with it).

Check it out here. It's worth it: http://tradingsignal.toptips.org

One year old's really don't care, don't get me wrong it's probably one of the best that we had. Now my daughters birthday is in December so we had Christmas decorations already up and a variety of goodies, candies, cookies out the whazoo.
food...homemade pepperoni rolls, homemade pizza, drinks, cake. and the rest of them we had other places.
sorry I don't have ideas on the decorating. I hope that I was helpful on the food items.

I got corn dogs for the kids to throw in the oven, so we wouldnt be stuck at the grill all day. Also my two kids love guacomole so we had that. Another mom brought these cinnamin tortilla chips with fruit did, and the kids loved those.

As I said in my earlier post, we did lots and lots of streamers. Cheap, and with the wind blowing a little was kind of festive. They also had those tissue paper balls, in rainbow colors, kind of like you see at prom, got a couple of those at $1.99 each at Target.

just keep it simple. dollar tree/dollar store/party store.

goodie bags... make cookies in different shapes and color them with bright icing. attach a couple small water balloons blow up with air for the kids.

creative for kids.... make kabobs~~
popcorn chicken and tater tots. fruit kabobs too

First birthdays are really exciting, for the parents, family, and of course the Birthday Child.

Remember less is more!!

Don't try to be too scheduled, and be flexible!!!!!

Do not get frustrated if she/he doesn't want to open presents or stuff their face with cake. Both my children refused to do both on their birthdays.

Have fun and take lots of pictures!!

the best trading software http://tradingsolution.info
i have attended a lot of seminars, read counless books on forex trading and it all cost me thousands of dollars. the worst thing was i blew up my first account. after that i opened another account and the same thing happened again. i started to wonder why i couldn,t make any money in forex trading. at first i thought i knew everything about trading. finally i found that the main problem i have was i did not have the right mental in trading. as we know that psychology has great impact on our trading result. apart from psychology issue, there is another problem that we have to address. they are money management, market analysis, and entry/exit rules. to me money management is important in trading. i opened another account and start to trade profitably after i learnt from my past mistake. i don't trade emotionally anymore.
if you are serious about trading you need to address your weakness and try to fix it. no forex guru can make you Professional trader unless you want to learn from your mistake.
