Mine just got neutered too but I just let him be. He doesn't seem to be in pain and he plays around. I suggest let everything be as normal as possible for him :)

He's probably feeling okay or he would have let you know by now. Presumably any effects of the anesthesia are gone and he's eating, sleeping, moving about all right?
My two guys, now 13 years old, were neutered at 6 months: they had the operation in the morning, were picked up late afternoon, and spent the hours of midnight to 3AM chasing each other up and down the stairs of the townhome we lived in.
Learned my lesson not to neuter them again. ;)
Paws crossed for an equally quick recovery time for your boy.
If he wants a little extra spoiling or a cat treat, go ahead.

Just provide him with a nice warm bed and let him be quiet.
Cat castration is a relatively minor procedure and your cat should be back to normal by tomorrow. If he goes outside at all, try to keep him in for a couple of days until the wound has healed a fair bit. Offer him food as usual, don't be alarmed if he doesn't want to eat for the rest of the day, it may take a while for the effects of the anaesthetic to wear off.

Thank you for getting your animal altered it is a big help in stopping the unwanted pet population. Anyway I would make sure that the cat has his favorite sleeping place and if he has a favorite toy I would bring it to him (my boy cat had a monkey he loved and he slept with it for comfort) Make sure the kitty has fresh food and water and a VERY clean litter box. Also people put on light classical music to soothe and comfort their pets. Maybe you could give him one of his favorite cat treats. Make sure you pay attention to him but try not to crowd him as well. Im sure everything will go fine. Good Luck!

You shouldn't need to do anything specific. Just keep in mind that they are limited as to what they can do for a little bit a fter the operation. My cat tried to jump on the top bunk of a bed, and fell off. She had done this for years perfectly. Fortunately she didn't hurt the stitches, but she did meow for a while in pain. Just make sure they don't push themselves too soon.

I have 3 and they are all fixed. Just let him do whatever he normally does, but I do recommend if you use a clay type litter, that you temporarily switch to a litter that is not clay. I used one call "Yesterday's News" and it helped them not getting any infections from the dust that clay litter can create.
