Formerly Roman Catholic here; went to a Catholic school from the time I was 4 until I was almost 9. Tried really hard...& failed (not in school, but in finding my niche).

Began studying Wicca, as well as many other religions when I was about 13. After a couple of years, I felt real close to Wiccan beliefs, but not quite right on.

A couple of months ago, I became a born-again...pagan :)
I consider it more of a spirituality type of thing, as opposed to religion. I believe a supreme being made the universe, and those who inhabited the universe made religion.

I consider myself an Agnostic, Eclectic Neo-Pagan :D

Christian...Greek Orthodox
Our Church is called the "Greek Church" because Greek was the first language of the ancient Christian Church from which our Faith was transmitted. The New Testament was written in Greek and the early writings of Christ's followers were in the Greek language. The word "Greek" is not used to describe just the Orthodox Christian peoples of Greece and other Greek speaking people. Rather, it is used to describe the Christians who originated from the Greek speaking early Christian Church which used Greek thought to find appropriate expressions of the Orthodox Faith . "Orthodox" is also used to describe our Church. The word "Orthodox" is derived from two short Greek words orthos meaning "correct" and doxa meaning "belief" or "glory". Thus, we used the word "Orthodox'' to indicate our conviction that we believe and worship God correctly. We emphasize Apostolic tradition, continuity and conservatism over a 2,000 year history. Our Church is also spoken of as the "Eastern Church" to distinguish it from the Churches of the West. "Eastern" is used to indicate that in the first millennium the influence of our Church was concentrated in the eastern part of the Christian world and to show that a very large number of our membership is of other than Greek national origin. Thus, Orthodox Christians throughout the world use various ethnic or national titles: "Greek", "Russian", "Serbian", "Romanian", "Ukrainian", "Bulgarian", "Antiochian", "Albanian", "Carpatho-Russian", or more inclusively, as "Eastern Orthodox".

I am of The True Christian Faith... membership in man invented "denominations" has no bearing on the Salvation of anyone.... I am a member of a small concervative Baptist congregation... but that will not be concidered when God welcomes me into Heaven... All who come to God in The Way He prescribes receive His free gift of Salvation. those become part of The body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head... those are the ones of The True Christian Faith. Only those of The Church will enter Heaven.

My parents brought me and my siblings up in the JW faith but none of us chose to follow it once of an age where we were able to lose it. I am now of no religion but I do believe in a higher entity, I just havent discovered what it is. I think we all need something to have a faith in, but as already mentioned, faith is different to religion. Why be told by imperfect humans whether your actions are right or wrong? I have good morals and so do my children. I don't need a priest or the equivalent to tell me otherwise. Each to their own though.
