Don't diet. Works for me. The key to actually losing weight is eating right by following the food pyramid, and exercising. You'll eventually get off your diet and most likely gain every pound back and more, but eating right becomes your lifestyle, and keeps you healthy.

The difference between the two is that dieting restricts you from a lot of foods and eventually you'll cave and binge. Eating right is eating everything in moderate portions.

In eating right and in small portions you are able to allow yourself a treat everyday without having any regrets. Don't live off of soda, diet or not, though. Drink lots of water, and you'll actually FEEL better.

There are unique motivational matters you would desire to take a look at. For instance, a smoker would desire to explode a photograph of a smoker's lungs and tape it across the condo or in "cause zones" such because the automobile. SO, first take a look at going to a school campus or wellness middle who presents frame fats checking out. This is not only a BMI ratio or a frame- fats scale, however approaches reminiscent of dermis- fold calipers and beneath-water mass displacement. This gets you a a lot more correct estimate of your frame fats percent. Set dates for your self, probably 1X/mo to redo the experiment and take a look at to slash that %. This will support to maintain you fitter for your consuming conduct through now not traumatic such a lot approximately he scale #, however your frame composition. In addition, while you discover the % frame fats you're presently, determine what number of kilos of your whole frame weight that's additional weight you're sporting round on a daily basis! Then use the Dr. Oz final result and pile in combination a few gross hams, take a picture, and placed it in your rest room reflect, refrigerator, dashboard, and many others. as a reminder. It is a harsh tactic, however I wager it's going to support your attitude! Lastly, simply do not maintain such a lot of "dangerous" meals for your condo. If they are now not there, probabilities are you're going to be too lazy to visit the shop only for that and can allow the yearning move. If at night time, simply pass to mattress!!! Good success :)

I keep a picture of me when I was fat in my lunch bag. I let myself cheat once a week. My daughter takes me out for dinner and I order whatever I want. It's easier to stay on track the rest of the week if I know that reward is coming. promise yourself a treat (it doesn't have to be food) if you lose a certain amount of weight.

What I did was not go on a diet but changed my eating habits -- the foods I eat are natural and full of proteins and veges and fruits -- instead of choc. peanut butter ice cream I crave vanilla frozen yogurt with chocolate sprinkles... when it comes down to it when you change your eating habits your cravings are different and you look forward to that healthy breakfast not because you have but because it tastes good --

when you first start eating healthy you might not be used to it but after a while you love the new foods and I don't even feel a loss for junk food or anything like that.

i find that the best way to stick to a diet is to never begin one. the trick to losing weight and staying fit is to make a lot of very small changes in your lifestyle. i have friends who limit caloric intake by allowing themselves one sweet treat each day. this is just enough to eliminate cravings that could turn into binges. whenever we deny ourselves something completely, we focus on how much we want it (or think we want it). don't let anything be forbidden. if you have a bad day here or there just make up for it later by exercising more than usual. make those extra calories go towards something like building muscle.

Hehe... by looking in the mirror?

I got good results, so now I look and I see what I wanted, which convinces me that the changes I made were correct. I look fabulous and the reason why is because I changed my lifestyle. Why would I want to change back? The proof is in the mirror! This way is better!

Its somthing I stuggle with also. I stay active, and away from the fridge, so I don't snack. And I try to reward myself every month, with a small portion of somthing I really love, like a slice of death by chocolate. You should try replacing your binge foods; like ice cream, with a slim-fast shake, or cookie bar, it does help.

Go to the beach, take pictures of the whales wearing bikinis and post them on your cabinets and fridge. That should do it.
