I wouldn't. Unless the job you have applied for is calligraphy you may be too critical of your handwriting. With the decline in people actually writing anymore all of our handwriting skills are a little suspect. Take your time, write as clearly and legibly as you can. Your other suggestion is fine but its a little unprofessional and sounds a little like a hostage letter or a bad art project. Be yourself your handwriting won't get you the job nor lose it.

I'd definetely go with the handwriting, cos it seems more personal and genuine. Typing it seems tacky to me. And please do not use resume paper. Buy one from Hallmark or Papyrus. People would appreciate it more, and you might get an offer. If you really think that your handwriting's awful, ask one of your friends (that has good handwriting) to write it for you, I'm sure no one would know or care. No need to be perfect, it's the thought that counts.

Hand write the letter. I would suggest using a simple pre-folded Thank you card. Something very simple (no flowers or cutesy verses) - you can probably purchase in packs of 6 or 12 in a Drugstore or Hallmark store. Write a short, succinct note in your best handwriting (I have horrible penmanship, too, but ALWAYS hand-write my thank-yous!).
Good luck! Hope you get the job!

No matter how ugly your handwritting is, I think it should be handwritten. Remeber if you get hired its not because of a thank you card, its because of how hard you hit your interview.

I dont think you should send a card at all. I have never heard of it being customary in th UK. Maybe it is usual wherever you come from. But a polite thank you at the end of the interview would be acceptable

If your writing is bad, type out a short letter thanking them for the interview. Thank you letters always stood out when I was a hiring manager.

It is proper to type a thank you letter....if you want the job, that is. It is the second impression the company will have of you so make it a good one.

Write it on the back of a 5X7 topless photo. Your handwriting won't matter as long as they can read your name.
