Yes, age does have a lot to do with religion. When you are born you are born with a religious prejudice towards some organized religion. As you become older you realize it's bull and fall away from the church. On your death bed you find religion and consider it an insurance policy just in case you were wrong.

I've often wondered what the average age of this forum is... I'm 25. Yes, age changes seem to indicate changes in religious belief (statistically). There is a natural ebb and flow I think.

Personally I am 21 (and a Christian but more in depth Catholic), yet at times I sound like my 84 year old grandmother (very conservative) when speaking about religion.

Well lets say it took me 50 years to realise that religion is pointless and dangerous. I'm a Pagan now. Just wish I'd figured it all out sooner Lol!

Not new age, that's for sure.... but to the question... i am 60... I came to accept The Truth of The Word at the age of 53... I can assure you that there is only One Way to God... and man invented "religion" is not the way.

The only thing age may have to go is the the older you are the more faith you may have because you have been believing in the religon many more years then younger people.

Actually, yes. Studies have found that religiousity decreases as one gets older, then increases again around 70 years of age.

Impending unknown of death can kinda do that to people....

Im 35yo and Atheist.
