On the microsoft website, I can only get a trial version for 60 days or pay $149-400 for the download. Are there any older versions that are free to download?

There's a freeware version called Open Office.

At staples I have seen the student edition 2003 for $125, your better off with 2007.

Nope... just go on ebay or a used software store and score a older copy... they are not free for download.

no there are not, so buckle down and buy it, it will only hurt for forever, but, you can download oper office for free and it works just like the regular office!

nope---Microsoft Office is never free...well, they were giving a few copies away if you signed up for the demo-conferences when Vista first came out---but they don't do that no more

well legally you wont find office full version for download but in some illegal site its available
