Getting your teeth extracted is never fun, sorry you have to experience it. But it really does sound like it is healing.
Remember you can always rinse with warm salt water that really sooths the gum; 1tsp. salt to 8oz. of warm water as warm as you can handle the water. Just remember DO NOT suck with a straw or smoke; of course you wouldn't smoke!;
that can pull out the blood clot and cause dry socket, VERY PAINFUL!!!!! Good luck you should be feeling better soon.

Start rinsing your mouth with warm salt water--every hour--I've been told this is a miracle cure. Take some vitamen C and eat the broth in your soup. Tomorrow you can eat the lumps--you'll be fine in 2 more days, keep the salt water going, while awake all day. A couple of time tomorrow will be fine.. I cup of warm water and a half a teaspoon of salt......Use it after every tooth extraction...SAWn Kansas

You need to see your dentist. You may not have an infection but you could possibly have a dry socket. Your dentist will numb the area and apply a medicated packing in the extraction site. This should releive the pain you're feeeling.

Your gum where the tooth was extracted is gonna feel weird for about a week or so. I would just chew on the other side. If you want to eat "lumpy food", just rinse after every meal. I would just take some ibuprofen for the pain

Hi Una, I had my teeth eliminated on Friday and took amoxicillin earlier than. It is to kill micro organism and restrict contamination, truthfully the exceptional factor to do with a bothersome teeth is to get it eliminated! The simplest factor you need to do is be rather cautious approximately the way you preserve it. I lamentably bought dry socket and went to the dentist in these days and he support it "clot" simply ask your dentist approximately all of it and they're going to support you. If your teeth is inflicting you excruciating suffering, then it's exceptional to get it eliminated and sure the suffering will move after the swelling and the treatment. Good good fortune!

Keep your tongue out of the wound site.

Eat soft foods for a few more days. (Eggs, yogurt, cottage cheese, tomatoes, etc.)

Rinse your mouth GENTLY with salt water as often as you can - at least four or five times a day.

You'll be fine in a few more days.

Have you tried to use salt water as a rinse? also do you feel as if you are running a fever? Take some aspirin if you are not allergic, If this does not help go see your dentist again and have them re-look at it.
