Ah hon. That made me cry. I am SO sorry about your cat.
My little knucklehead cat climbed up a tree last night and couldn't get down. I didn't figure it out until 2 am, when I kept calling and calling and hearing this scared "meow" that didn't come home. At 7 am, we took an extention ladder into our neighbors yard and coaxed him down the ladder. I didn't sleep a wink tho, just hearing his cries all night was murder.
I've always disliked cats. It was 2 years ago that our neigbhors cat "adopted" us. Decided it didn't like them anymore. We didn't want this cat, but...she just stuck around. We didn't know she already had cancer. After about 9 months with her, we had to put her down. We were all so sad for a month. Just this vacant spot in our lives. We went to a cat rescue after a month of mourning and found a little feral kitty that had been socialized enough to adopt. Gavin. We've had him for 9 months and he's such a joy. He didn't replace the other cat, but gave us someone else to love. I hope that you'll consider easing your sadness by adopting another kitty.

I am really sorry for your loss.
Ask your master to forge a ring for your next cat. I know a wraithcat is sometimes a pain in the rear, but they live a LOT longer.

But i do believe animals do move on just as we do weather it be reincarnation or heaven animals have souls just as we do so they are inclined to go somewhere. I know this for a fact because i have a ghost cat (crazy huh?) running through my house and hes a goddess-send because I'm allergic to cats and its nice to be in a company of a cat that wont make me sneeze. So your kitty is somewhere wonderful eating catnip and chasing mice happily.

You know, I firmly believe that all animals go to heaven. Some people feel that animals don't have "souls," and thus can't go to heaven. People that believe this have obviously never had pets...

Paradise. it says so in the bible, the lion will lay with the lamb, & since God is going to restore the original paradise animals will be there as well.

I'm sorry to hear about your cat. Honestly, I don't have an answer to this but your cat will always be with you in spirit. It sounds dumb but I believe it to be true. Namaste and many blessings.
